CERTIFIED PRACTITIONERS

The SMILE_PH (Sense-Making Interviews Looking at Elements of Philosophical Health) certification program represents the most comprehensive and empirically-grounded approach to philosophical counseling available today. Developed by Dr. Luis de Miranda through extensive research, counselling and clinical experience, this methodology has been tested and validated through academic studies, including groundbreaking work with individuals facing significant life challenges. The six-step structured approach provides practitioners with a reliable framework for helping clients explore their bodily sense, sense of self, sense of belonging, sense of the possible, sense of purpose, and philosophical sense.
Our certified SMILE_PH practitioners have completed an intensive 16-week training program under Dr. de Miranda's direct supervision, combining both experiential learning as counselees and detailed theoretical analysis of the methodology. These highly qualified professionals are equipped to help individuals navigate personal challenges, explore meaningful questions, and develop greater coherence between their thoughts and actions. Whether you're seeking philosophical counselling services or interested in becoming certified in this transformative approach, we invite you to connect with us. For those interested in certification, our program offers a unique dual-focused training that develops both practical competency and theoretical understanding. To schedule a session with a certified SMILE_PH counsellor, you can contact them directly or us if you are looking for advice.
